Redneck Bird Feeder
Here's an easy thing to do this spring. Take a toilet paper roll, slather it in peanut butter, and roll it in birdseed. Then find a good place to string it up. Jacen didn't like getting peanut butter on his hands but otherwise he had a fun time. We are waiting to see if we have any bird visitors that like it.

That's a great idea!
I've used large pine cones before - stuffed them with suet or peanut butter and rolled in seed.

That's a good idea, and less redneckish lol
I did something like this about 9 years ago. This would only work well here for a couple of months right before summer because in the summer our temps reach 117F and the peanut butter dripped right off the thing I smoothed it on to, right onto the ground. LOL
lol I can see that being a problem here in the summer time. Right now the temps are mild so no worries. I definitely won't be able to have one out by next month though.
