My oldest daughter, Kayley, turned 18 today. This is the first time I have ever not seen one of my children on their birthday. It was my choice, though. I didn't want her to catch the flu or stomach bug, both of which are making their rounds in this house. When we get well I am going to have a little party for her. Hopefully that will happen soon.

I'm sorry you couldn't see your daughter on her 18th but that's a pretty good reason. I'm sure you'll all have a fun celebration when you feel better.
